The Rundown #0004

Hello everyone! After a great trip back to South Dakota and an awesome Christmas, it is once again time to write in the blog (even though I am still bad at doing it often). Anyhow, I am writing a Rundown tonight because I plan on having a HAPPY NEW YEARS BLOG POST SPECIAL!!!!! Woot woot. But be sure to check it. Here is the deal, I’m not actually going to be writing, but I hope to put up a VIDEO!!! Even better, right! So, if you are really dedicated like myself, stay up late and ring in the new year… and check out my video of what has been going on. I hope to post it around 11pm, New Year’s Eve, hopefully, so I can keep partying watching the Three Stooges, all night and New Year’s Day, on AMC. Sorry, I should go into advertising, but getting back on subject… I’m gonna talk about my parents and Lance becoming stars on KELO TV (btw, check out the video below!), many Christmas stories, etc… IT’S GONNA BE AWESOME!!! So come back very soon! In the meantime, stay connected via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and the Wilde Blog! Cya!

The Rundown #0003

Hey everyone! I hope you got to check out the videos I still have posted at the bottom of the page. But anyways, I went to the Greenville Federal Correctional Institution yesterday. No, I didn’t do anything bad :P I actually went with the Chamber Singers and we sang as a little ministry outreach. Quite an awesome experience! Many lives were touched that we cared about them and were willing to come and do this. Also, I have finals on Wednesday, then caroling, then head for home!!! Yippy skippy! I will hopefully elaborate more on all the Rundown topics and post a bigger blog post over Christmas break. Until then, may God bless! CYA!

FYI #0001

Hey, so quickly, this is FYI. This will be a part of a blog where I have little time, but have something really great/important/__________ (fill in the blank). But anyways…

Today, my brother, Lance, left at 8:30am for Southwest Asia and my parents were interviewed on KELOLAND Television. There is a video under this blog post that shows them leaving. The interview is also posted just above the other video. So, check out the videos and please keep the troops in your prayers! Thanks, and God Bless!

The Rundown #0002

So, I said I would post, but it won’t be very long. I hope to actually post more over Christmas break, so stay tuned! This week I had Thanksgiving with my roommate’s relative's house. It was a great time. Then got a couple of movies for $2 a piece, and I didn’t even have to get up early! I rock. Just kidding, but seriously. Anyways, only a couple weeks of school, finals, and then the trip home left! If I counted right, 18 days until I’m home! Anyways, I gotta go, so I'll chat later!

The Rundown #0001

Hey everyone! So here I’m finally going to start writing a little bit about what I have been doing here at GC.

Have been doing a lot of rehearsals for Choral Union concert coming up in the beginning of December – singing Handel’s Messiah. Couple weekends ago, choir got to sing at the Cathedral Basilica in Saint Louis with the Boston Camerata, not too often that we get to perform with an amazing group like that! Last weekend, we had the Presidential Inauguration here at GC – another experience that doesn’t happen too often. Choir performed for that ceremony and also for a concert for the President. Life in general is busy, but has been fun hanging out with friends. Always playing Settlers of Catan (board game) and watching movies and playing Xbox 360. Tonight was great, watched a couple movies: Marnie by Alfred Hitchcock (crazy movie, but good) and Everything is Spiritual by Rob Bell (INCREDIBLE!!! Got to watch it! Beats the NOOMA videos I have seen!). Anyways, tomorrow, I will be going to Saint Louis with some friends through a group called Dirty Roots. They hand out food every Saturday to the homeless, so this will be a cool experience. Also, Sunday morning I will be going with some classmates to Mt. Vernon, IL, to visit a church and get some ideas for a project in our class, presenting data to give to the Free Methodist Church local district of why Mt. Vernon would be an excellent spot to plant a church. Should be fun, and now I’m outta time and I need sleep. Will chat again later! God Bless!

LRA Disarmament & Northern Uganda Recovery Act

Hey everyone! So, I have been horrible about posting on the blog, but I do have something very important and urgent that needs your attention and your help. That is the LRA Disarmament  & Northern Uganda Recovery Act. Check out the link below for more information and pass this on! Sign the petition and let your Congress people know they should support this! This was passed unanimously yesterday by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee!

Here is the link: http://www.invisiblechildren.com/obama

I have also put up a direct link to the site at the very bottom of the page. Thanks for your attention, and I hope to chat with you again!

And Now Presenting: The Rundown

Hey everyone, so I know I am bad at blogging because I feel I need to write something significant for it to be posted online, but I think I’ll do something a little different to help until I get used to it. Every once and a while, I’ll actually take time and work on a blog post, but in between, I am going to do something I like to call “The Rundown” (and no, I don’t mean in any way to copy the title off the movie The Rundown, just so we are clear) just to say quick what I’ve been up to. It won’t have many frills, but it will get you an idea of what I’m doing… But that will have to wait until tonight when I get time to do it. So stay tuned friends! I’ll blog ya later :P

My First Blog

Hey everyone! So I have finally decided to try something new and begin a blog. In the past, I have found I am horrible at updating new stuff going on in my life. I am never sure if I have told whoever I’m talking/writing/emailing/sending a pigeon messenger to something they already know, so this is how I’m going to try and fix that. I hope to maybe try and do a weekly, if not, bi-weekly post, but don’t get to impatient if I don’t post once a month, because I am usually busy. But hopefully, this will help you get an idea of what’s up in my life and what I’m doing and thinking. Hopefully I’ll be able to figure out how to do all of this and I’ll be able to try different things! Thanks for checking this out! CYA LATER!
